Al Hashim Khyber Grill is the first Pakistani traditional Peshawari restaurant in the UK, priding itself on delivering an authentic and delightful culinary experience. Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef in the kitchen operations including menu planning, inventory, and management of culinary staff.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and health & safety.
  • Prepare ingredients and ensure the quality of the food items.
  • Work collaboratively with the culinary team to create innovative and traditional dishes.
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff members.
  • Monitor and manage stock levels, order new supplies as required.

Qualifications:

  • Culinary arts degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a similar restaurant environment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work well in a high-pressure environment.
  • Must be organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
  • Knowledge of Pakistani/Peshawari cuisine is a plus.
