About Us:
Al Hashim Khyber Grill is the first Pakistani traditional Peshawari restaurant in the UK, priding itself on delivering an authentic and delightful culinary experience. Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in the kitchen operations including menu planning, inventory, and management of culinary staff.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and health & safety.
- Prepare ingredients and ensure the quality of the food items.
- Work collaboratively with the culinary team to create innovative and traditional dishes.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff members.
- Monitor and manage stock levels, order new supplies as required.
Qualifications:
- Culinary arts degree or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a similar restaurant environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work well in a high-pressure environment.
- Must be organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
- Knowledge of Pakistani/Peshawari cuisine is a plus.
